Have you ever wondered why we do what we do in Catholic Mass? Are you confused by the ritual, words, parts, and responses given? Well then this is the event for you
On Tuesday, May 13th beginning at 6pm, we are hosting our very first "The Mass: Explained" Event!
Whether you were raised Catholic or are not even Catholic, we invite you to learn more about the Catholic Mass, its rites, and how to get the most out of it!
We will begin by walking over to the Erie Canal in Pittsford and taking a nice walk alongside it, before heading back over to St. Louis Church. Once at the Church, Father will take some time to explain the parts of the Mass, why we do them, and what their significance is, before actually hosting a Mass for us to participate in!
After Mass, we will walk (or drive if the weather changes) over to Pittsford Dairy for some delicious Ice Cream!
If you are interested in coming to this wonderful event, please be sure to RSVP to us at roc.converge@dor.org or by phone at 585-502-8812!
We hope you can make it!
