Ethical Purchasing: An Interactive Presentation on the Dangers of Consumerism

Grace Adams, a Young Adult in our parish community, will be presenting on her work with Catholic Ethical Purchasing Alliance (CEPA).

As a Coordinator within the Ignatian Solidarity Network, Grace will be giving a presentation on fair trade (especially surrounding textiles), consumerism, and ethical consumption/purchasing. We will talk about the impact of the garment industry on people and the planet and ways Christians can change its purchasing practices to reflect its values steeped in Catholic Social Teaching.
